Two more members of Prestatyn Running Club made their Parkrun debuts at Conwy on Saturday while two more improved their personal bests.
Alex Ryder, one of the two newcomers, had a cracking run despite the strong wind, finishing fifth overall in 19.44 and winning his 18-19 age-group.
He was followed by Matty Smith (12th in 21.21), Arwel Jones (24th in 22.47 , pb), Mike Davis (33rd in 23.38, 1st M65), and Andrew Scott (40th in 24.21, pb).
Meanwhile Steve Hatfield again turned out in the Cleethorpes Parksun, finishing just outside his best in 23.12.
Super-vet Dafydd Owen was left to fly the club’s flag alone in the Tal-y-Fan race from Rowen, which included a lot of rough terrain. He finished 54th in 1-54.55.
Helen Ashworth was also the only representative in the Druids fell-race in the Clwydian hills, coming 55th in 48.36.
