The bandwagon just keeps rolling on for Prestatyn Running Club, with success following success.

The latest batch of good results came in Sunday’s Border Road Running League fixture at Caernarfon despite the absence of several influential members.

Steve Skates’s fine form continued as he took second place, while Amie Bagnall secured her first ever League win.

Andrew Bromley had his highest-placed finish for the club, with new recruit Steve Forsyth just behind him, only 24 hours after coming second in the Conwy Parkrun.

The previous day at Conwy Steve Forsyth clocked a nippy 17.23 on his Parkrun debut. He was followed by James Rogers (32nd in 21.06), Callum Dally (49th, 22.34), Andy Clark (250th, 31.55), Alex White (283rd, 34.05), Suzanne Evans (284th, 34.09), Sam Bowen (311th, 36.59) and Julie Evans (318th, 37.34).

Teenager Liam Martin was an excellent 52nd on his first attempt in the Wepre Parkrun, clocking 29.06. Clare Atterbury was 85th, setting yet another pb of 31.26, and Liam’s dad Karl was 86th in 31.28.
