Members of Prestatyn Running Club enjoyed varying races this weekend at World and National level.
Mike Davis had a great run following injury by mixing it with the World’s best in the World Masters Mountain Champs finishing a creditable 167th in 01:04:21.
Eddie Naisby continued his form surpassing his 84 years by completing the Wirral 10k in 01:05:00 and 274th.
Matty Smith was happy with his Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon debut finishing 198th in 01:33:47.
Three men and one lady turned out for the tough hill climbing Ras Fawr Llanddoged, Dean Longley regaining his titled 1st in 47:36, George Nicholls 9th 54:65, Russ Cheetham 25th 65:04 and the ever improving Katie Dawson 34th (2nd LV35) 75:13.
The Cross Country season commences 3rd October 2015 in Bangor, and Prestatyn are again expecting to field strong teams inc new runners who have joined the club recently.
