Annual 10 pin bowling championship

Published In PRC News

The annual 10 pin bowling championship has now been booked for Tuesday 1st December at 7.30 p.m. and will again be taking place at the Ffrith 10 Pin Bowling Centre.

The price is 2 games plus food for just £10 per person. I think I speak on behalf of everybody who played last year in saying that the food was well above our expectations!

We had a really good night last year and hopefully this one will be even better.

If you would like to take part then simply do one of the following:

  1. Accept the invitation already posted on Facebook in the running club section..
  2. Reply to this e-mail with the details of who is going.

If you don’t want to or simply can’t take part, then again please let me know.

As last year, the intention is to have teams of six, this will be dependant on the number of people attending. If you already know your team, please let me have the details and I will pre-register them to save time on the night. Everybody else can simply make up the teams on the night.

The plan is also the same as last year. The first game will be simply whatever team you have selected to play in. The second game will be dependant on where you finished in the first game. This means that people will generally play with 2 completely different sets of people.

There will be a trophy for the winner and possibly even a booby prize for the lowest score of the night.

Some questions that need to be answered:

  1. Will Dean Longley reign supreme again? (I think he was as shocked as anyone)
  2. Will Gareth Hughes injure himself?
  3. Will Duncan Longley have a drink?
  4. Will one of the new members be a 10 pin star?
  5. Will one of the ladies show the men how it is done?

Lots more questions to come I’m sure but all will be revealed on the night.

See you there
