The club’s juniors also had cause to celebrate at the weekend when two of them collected medals at the North Wales indoor champion ships at Deeside, the first time for them to compete at such an event and against well-established track and field clubs. Their details will appear next week.

The club’s beginners’ sessions go from strength to strength, with 29 having taken part during the first two weeks.

This Saturday ((30th)) the club hosts the North Wales cross-country championships at Rhug, Corwen, and while a record turnout is expected from the club it is hoped that some will also find time to assist with the organisation on the day.
