From Malaga to Marine Lake, Beaumaris to Bodelwyddan and the Wirral to Wicklow - members of Prestatyn Running Club have been in action at a vast range of venues and terrains over the past couple of weeks.

The most adventurous were two of the club’s supervets who travelled to Spain for the World Masters’ championships. In the over-90s’ 10k road race Roger Harrison-Jones finished ninth overall and second GB runner in 59.33, with David Hughes two places behind in 64.39. Later this week Roger is due to compete in the 5k and half-marathon.

Jenna Bagnall was on international duty once again, representing Walesunder-20s in the British and Irish junior mountain-running championships in Wicklow. It was her toughest challenge yet but she finished a highly creditable 16th overall.
