Prestatyn Running Club has three more North Wales champions after Sunday’s wet and miserable Helena Tipping 10k in Wrexham.

Amie Bagnall was fourth lady overall and first senior lady, but took the regional title, while the other champions were Gareth Hughes (M70) and Roger Harrison-Jones (M80).

Despite the conditions several recorded pbs, the most impressive being that of Stuart Quayle, who broke the 60-minute barrier for the first time and by a wide margin.
