• London Marathon Places 2018

  Although we are waiting for final details we are hoping that as in previous years the club will be given a couple of places in the London Marathon 2018. As done previously we would like to open these places via a ballot to members of the club who have had their entries rejected.

  With the clocks changing this weekend and it already dark by 6:30pm can I just remind everyone to ensure they have some kind of fluorescent kit on not just on club runs but on any run in bad light. Stay safe.

  The IAAF World Indoor Championships are taking place in Birmingham in March 2018. It has been suggested a trip to the event is arranged for Prestatyn Running Club members.

  The cross-country season opened quite gently at the weekend with the first fixture of the Grand Prix Express North Wales League on a dry and mainly flat Wrexham course.

  There was once again a strong turnout by Prestatyn Running Club, who fielded 18 men and 13 women. At the same venue the club’s juniors also had a successful outing in the North Wales Junior League.
